How to Apply
The substrate should be clean, free from foreign particles and structurally without cracks.
The substrate temperature should be between 5 °C and 35 °C.
Before applying AQUATA ELASTIC corrode the substrate to saturation and remove any stagnant water.
Empty the liquid (reducer B) into a clean container, leaving a small amount in the container.
The powder (reducer. A) must be added slowly to the liquid, stirring simultaneously with a suitable mixer.
Mixing is done by mechanical stirrer, on slow bends, until the material is homogeneous and without lumps.
Let the mixture settle for 3 minutes and mix again, adding the remaining amount of liquid.
It is not allowed to add water to the mixture.
Stir the mixture and then at regular intervals.
The material is applied in two coats.
Apply the first layer with a brush by pressing the material on the surface.
The second layer can be applied (with brush, spatula or roller), when the first one is dry and always in a direction perpendicular to the first layer.
Subsequent coatings Interval: Minimum 12 hours and maximum 48 hours at 20 °C.
After Application The mortar should be preserved during the summer months by spraying with water and winter covering it with plastic sheets/tarpaulins (not spraying with water).
Maintenance is recommended to last for 3 days, protecting the material from the strong air, extreme temperatures, cold and rain.
