Fibrostir XPS Xylotypwn 60pm

Extruded polystyrene (XPS) is a foam insulating material with closed cells. Approximately 93% of its weight consists of polystyrene, while in a small percentage it also contains additives, pigments and fire retardant.

The polystyrene crystals are mixed with special enhancement additives and environmentally friendly bulking gases, creating a viscous mixture. This mixture is homogenized under automatic and fully controlled temperature and pressure conditions, cooled and finally shaped into a desired specification plate. The uniform dispersion of fixed-size alveoli within the mass of the thermal insulating plate ensures the excellent thermal insulation properties of the fibro stir XPS plate.

Application

The Fibrostir XPS shuttering plate is applied to the thermal insulation of concrete perimeter elements (walls, beams, columns and roofs). Also during the insulation of a tiled roof on a sloped concrete slab (applied to the formwork). Finally, it is used in a thermal façade system for the retrofit of buildings.
