Product Description
FibraNgeo B-051 hard stone wool plates are an insulating material, produced industrially by melting and fibrous rocks.
FIBRANgeo B-051 stone wool belongs to the category of mineral wool for building insulation, in accordance with European Standard EN 13162 (MW – Mineral Wool insulation products).
Stone wool is a natural inorganic fibrous insulating material, recognized internationally for its thermal and sound insulating properties, as well as for its excellent behavior at high temperatures and on fire.
FIBRANgeoB-051 is produced from mineral rocks, which are initially produced in an electric furnace at 1520°C and then inactivated. The fibers of stone wool, with the addition of adhesive resin, oil and special silicate compounds for hydrophobia, acquire consistency, elasticity and hydro repellent. Finally, the fibres are formed into plates and packed with thermoconsolid polyethylene film in packages and pallets. The use of an electric furnace rather than a blast furnace with fossil fuels, used by most stone wool producers, ensures excellent product quality and minimizes the emission of gaseous pollutants into the environment.
