FIBRANgeo B-001 semi-hard stone wool plates are an insulating material, produced industrially by melting and fibrous rocks. It belongs to the category of mineral wool for insulation of buildings, according to european standardEN 13162 (MW – Mineral Wool insulation products). Stone wool is a natural inorganic fibrous insulating material, recognized internationally for its thermal and sound insulating properties, as well as for its excellent behavior at high temperatures and on fire.
Advantages
Excellent thermal insulation
Excellent sound absorption and sound insulation
Unburned material with great fire resistance
Open structure with very little resistance to water vapour diffusion (similar to air μ=1), allowing the breathing of building blocks and passive ventilation of buildings
Hydro-repellent and non-hygroscopic
Natural, inorganic, odorless and chemically inert (practically ph neutral)
Lightweight and easy to use
Vibration-resistant
It does not allow the development of micro-organisms, insects and rodents
Recyclable
Eco-friendly and environmentally friendly
